The Long of It

You are going to be unimpressed, I'm sure. I did not cut my hair short yet.

Focus on the "yet" part. There was something very scarey about it and so I kept asking Mike if I would look OK (holding back a full 8 inches of my locks to demonstrate what I would look like) and when I asked him again an hour before my appointment he reminded me that I shouldn't do something that I have doubts about. So... I asked the hair stylist and she said the same thing. This was all compounded by my mother-in-law telling me I had beautiful hair a couple weeks ago.

So, then, what happened today? I was driving home from Savon and thought to myself, "I really want to cut my hair". And then... Even better, I thought about having a different hair color. Maybe red. And also, I want to reshape my eyebrows.

Now you understand why this entry is accompanied by this photo from Kuperus. (thanks, yosi!)

And the shoes. I love all the shoes in her work.

I don't get those pictures... Why do all the women look like mannequins? Why just legs in the photos? What is Kuperus trying to say about women?

All women have an empty feeling after they have a baby; your body goes from creator of life to just being a body again. A new look is refreshing and well deserved.

Yeah, I chicken out as well-- so nice having that ponytail, huh? You do have beautiful hair-- enjoy it! You can always cut it later.

Got your message-- awww. . . Will be calling you soon. Have been working night shift-- lunch is @ 2:00am. Didn't think that'd be the best time!

Talk to you soon! Miss you!

I go through that about twice a year. I ususally cut mine, though. Remember, it WILL grow back, and you can always take prenatals to make it grow faster, lol.
