Monday Flashback - 1996

I've decided that each Monday I will post a previous milk memo, blog excerpt or poem from my archives. I'm dong this for several reasons.
1) I can
2) I didn't go back and post this old stuff for nothing
3) For those who've been reading my words all this time, it might be a nice flashback
4) When appropriate I will include embarrassing pictures of my hair
5) Eh, it's easier than trying to blog 3 times a week
6) It's always good to remeber where you came from
This week I'm going back all the way to a milk memo I wrote in 1999 about my friend Michael Martin.
I truly wish I had a photo of me from this era.
