A while back I received the book Operating Instructions, A Journal of My Son's First Year by Anne Lamott in the mail. Unfortunately there was no card and no way for me to track where it came from. It wasn't until end of July and August that I finally had the energy and time to read it but it was fantastic! It had me nearly snorting out loud. Recently I was able to recall my friend Steph, telling me that her mother bought me a book. She told me this during the sleep deprived early days which I'm sure release me from any responsibility beyond keeping my child alive. Anyway, thanks to Susan Allison! Loved it. Great gift for new moms.
Now it's happened again, I think.
The other day I received a copy of Wonder Time which looks to be a very cool parenting magazine. My name is on it, so I'm guessing I have a subscription but I don't know who to thank.
Oh well. Instead of letting this drive me insane, I will just say THANKS to whoever you are. May you always wake well rested and may all your days be filled with secrets of the fun kind.
