As promised, here are some sappy photos of August on her first Christmas.
Things started out pretty simple:
Admittedly, it was confusing to be told - after all this time - to actually tear something up.
There was a baby doll...
And the next thing you know...
Later, getting her dressed reminded me of that old email about preparing for children. Something about dressing an octopus. (Please notice her new Monkey Lip)
Finally, I want you to know this doll is not sold in stores.

You forgot the one where you put so many layers on her that she can't put her arms down (a la Christmas Story-- that snowsuit shot with the kid crying).
Loved this. As always, she is perfect.
