That would be the reason for my absence. Well, that and the fact that August has recently decided she would like to return to the womb.

Upon finding out that this is not possible she decided that being ON me, touching me at all times or yanking on my pant leg will have to do. And when I am unable to provide her this service she will flail and cry and gnash her teeth as if she were being thrown into the firey flames of hell.

Such is her campaign that she has included protest events like No To Nutrition Night and Bring the Baba Now chants. All of this is really fun.

My favorite protest move she has mastered is this:
When she gets really angry with me she will look me right in the eye and lick the floor. This is the one thing she can do that will cause me to shriek and tear at my clothes.

Clearly she is a genius.
