If The Pants Fit...

I just tried on my "fat" pants.

I realize it's insane to be 5' 9" and weigh 114 lbs. That's what I was this time last year, but I was also ill. When I found out I was pregnant with August I weighed about 118. My usual weight fluctuates between 120 - 125 and today I am 128.

Now, keeping in mind that I am "small" on top (for the most part), I simply want to be evenly proportioned. I am NOT complaining about my weight. What I am noticing is that it's time to get those pounds distributed evenly as they were before. This means riding my bike, walking and doing some crunches - things I haven't done in about a year.

Why am I ranting about this, you ask....

Because my Fat Pants fit.

Pennah--

Come on now. . . I realize I have never given birth, so I know I do not have room to really feel what you have written, however. . .I believe if you write, then you want feedback. Correct me if I am wrong.

128? You have recently given birth. I can't think of a greater accomplishment in a woman's life. I applaud everything you have done to get to this point. The fat pants are in honor of your daughter. They will receive a proper burial in a matter of weeks. Wear them with pride and relinquish all rights to them after six weeks of cardio and breastfeeding.

If you still weigh 128 in a bit over a month, I will eat my computer and you will never hear from me again. Dramatic? Perhaps, but just from what I've seen, you'll be back in shape in no time!

I am sure you are beautiful. I am sure you are a fabulous mom.

Now am going to ponder why I weigh 130 at 5'6. Hmmm. . . Laziness? Ha! Take care of you!

Loyally,

Kim

Staying fit or getting in shape is great. I don't remember the last time I weighed 128 pounds. But I feel good about myself and as long as you feel good you'll look good. What I am saying is... don't look at the pounds see the person.

As I said, I'm not complaining about my actual weight. I'm just saying that it's time for me to start exercising again so that my ass won't make my breasts look smaller than they actually are. Is it wrong to exercise so that I feel AND look good?
hmm.
Also, you all know my body type - small bones. So if you feel great, why compare yourself to me?

You both look great anyway -always have.
Who got the boys in middle school, Ang?
Who filled out her drress properly for Larry's wedding, Kimmy? (:
