Genius actor/ comedian Eddie Izzard stars in the new FX drama, The Riches. Per Eddies web site:

LOS ANGELES, January 25, 2007 – FX’s new drama series The Riches, starring Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver, premieres on Monday, March 12 at 10 PM ET/PT, and the network will televise the debut episode with limited commercial interruption. FX will air 13 episodes of The Riches on Mondays at 10 PM ET/PT through June 4.

Izzard and Driver play "Wayne and Dahlia Malloy," gypsy travelers from rural Louisiana. The Malloy’s, along with their three children, go on the run after stealing money from the extended family bank. An unfortunate accident provides a great opportunity when they obtain the identity of a well-to-do “normal family,” becoming “Doug and Cherien Rich.” Seduced by the idea of a bigger life for themselves, and armed with the keys to a new house in a posh neighborhood, they soon find that suburban life is more twisted and challenging than any of their previous stings.
