We went to NJ last weekend so August could see all her relatives there. Two great grandma's a great grandpa, Mike's parents, uncles, aunts etc.
I spent a while talkng with cousin Jeff and his finace, Tonya. They've had rough times in the REAL sense and now they are determined to make a good life together. This will require them stayng sober, paying off bad debt and breaking away from some family members who give a whole new meaning to the term "bad influence". I was really impressed with them and thier determination to stay clean and turn thier lives around. It struck me that there are probably a lot of people who don't think they will make it. But I believe they can. They're good people.
